Read-only, no key.","instructions":"Climatch compares the climate of 31,000+ towns (every town of 15,000+ people, from GeoNames) using TerraClimate 1991–2020 monthly averages: highs, lows, rain, humidity and solar radiation (Climatch's 'sunshine'). Match scores are 0–100 similarity, not probabilities: 50 means closer than about 94% of random town pairs, the high 90s are near-twins. Year-round searches line up seasons across the equator (seasonsFlipped). Numbers are long-run averages, not forecasts or this year's weather. Quote them with their units; every response gives °C and °F, mm and inches. Crop fits are climate only (no soil, pests, water rights or markets), from FAO ECOCROP and extension guide ranges. Cost of living is World Bank national price levels, or BEA metro price parities in the US (US = 100). Start with search_places when a town name is ambiguous.
